Summer time is almost here

It's almost summer time around here and students and their famalies are gettting ready to head out of town or just hang out and change the routine around the house. It seems as though our schedules get more insane as the years go on. Our personal schedules fill up as well as the ministry schedule. We have so many different things going on. I just finished planning the calendar for the 06-07 for the Full Service Middle School Ministry. The director of Operations here at the church just sent the timeline for our budget process for next year. Things fill up so quickly it seems like I can't even enjoy the summer because I need to be planning out the entire year. We'll, what I really want to do is go fishing but I have to schedule that with by buddy sometime at the end of June or beginning of July! Life is good.

I'm slow but learning

I just tried to respond to Sean's comment on my blog and posted my own comment about Sean on my blog. That's funny! We'll, I have had a great weekend hanging out with my girls. We had so much fun and missing them already but good to be back at work and getting things ready for the insane summer months. Another year of High School graduations and looking back at when they were about of our middle school ministry. Time does fly. All the parents I talked with said the years go quickly and don't miss out on each stage of your children's life. Great advice.

Back Home

I stayed an extra day in Colorado to visit my Aunt and Uncle and had a great time. I got back home to Tennessee on Thursday afternoon and had a great time coming home to my girls. We wrestled, jumped on the trampoline, watched Alice in Wonderland and snuggled! Today is their first ballet recital and the girls are so excited.
Another year at the Jr. High Summit and walk away with so much to process but more imporantly much deeper relationships with people who are truly my family. Thanks to all of you for your friendship and look forward to hearing from you all.

Why do we talk online while physically sitting next to that same person

I'm now finally a legit postmodern man. I feel like I been freed and now understand the entire gospel. I will never forget this moment and will cherish this forever. I appreciate this community of Jr. High Pastors and love them.
